The short version

The CASP Directory is a public reference site. We don't sell ads, we don't run third-party trackers, and we don't sell anything you give us. If you fill in the listing form, we get your work email and what you wrote. If you visit a page, the Netlify edge logs your IP for a short period for abuse prevention. That's it.

What we collect

Server logs

Our hosting provider (Netlify) keeps standard request logs: IP, user-agent, referrer, requested path. These rotate quickly and are used for security and abuse prevention.

The "Add your firm" form

When you submit the form on /list-your-firm/, we receive: the firm name, website, category, country, public source URL, your one-line description, and the work email you provide. Submissions are processed by Netlify Forms and emailed to us. We use the information to evaluate the listing and to contact you about it. We don't add you to any marketing list and we don't share the email with anyone else.

Cookies

None we set ourselves. If you have an embedded resource (e.g. a YouTube video on a future page) that sets a cookie, that's the third party's cookie, not ours, and we'll tell you when one shows up.

Legal basis (GDPR)

For server logs: legitimate interest (running the site, security). For the listing form: your explicit consent when you submit it (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), plus our legitimate interest in maintaining the directory.

How long we keep things

Your rights

If you're in the EU/EEA/UK, you have the right to access, correct, or delete the data we hold about you, to object to processing, and to data portability. Email sree@mintaralabs.xyz with "GDPR" in the subject and we'll respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.

Who we are

The CASP Directory is operated by independent researchers (currently a small team at Mintara Labs). For data questions: sree@mintaralabs.xyz.

Changes

We'll bump the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when this changes. Material changes that affect how we use existing form submissions get an email to the address you submitted with.
